Goodwill Spring Crafts

If you decorate with eggs as the seasons change, this post is for you. For your next Goodwill run, you’ll want to pick up your supplies: some 100% silk ties. The result is gorgeous! Goodwill’s stores have many funky ties to pick from, and you can get a few eggs covered with each tie. Click the image for the tutorial link.

I also love the idea of the trees for Spring. The following items for this project are often found at Goodwill:

  • Antique mason jar as the base for the rustic chic look
  • Decorating stones to fill the jar
  • Plastic eggs to tie a ribbon around for the branches
  • Fabric to make the leaves (a pillowcase would work too – you don’t need a lot of fabric for this project)
For the rest, you can pick up branches from your yard and paint them (or leave them natural!). Tie ribbons around the eggs to hang from the branches. If you like the fabric leaves, cut them out and hot glue them to the ends of the branches.
